Esther Dudovitz to Face Tarrethia Dixon

Esther "The Terror" Dudovitz is scheduled to make her pro debut on November 14 against Tarrethia Dixon at the Hammond SportsPlex in Hammond, Indiana, USA. Dixon is an experienced, if not particularly skilled, opponent for a debutant.

Dudovitz, a 26 year old from Chicago, won two city Golden Gloves during her amateur career. She'll need to tap into the poise she developed in the unpaid ranks as Dixon will likely come out firing wildly from the first bell.

Dixon is a 30 year old from Kalamazoo, Michigan with a record of 2-8 (2 KOs, stopped 8 times). She can take a punch, but can be stripped of her will to continue. In multiple fights, she has taken a knee after enduring repeated punishment.

Dudovitz will have an opportunity counter the unconventional shots from Dixon. Her straighter punches should find the target first. But Esther will need to be mindful of Dixon's unorthodox attack. It only takes one punch to ruin a debut.

Dudovitz-Dixon is scheduled for four two-minute rounds in the flyweight division.
